Manchester United is reportedly considering a significant addition to their squad with the potential signing of Leroy Sane. The German winger, who previously won the Premier League with Manchester City, has been offered to several European clubs after contract negotiations with Bayern Munich stalled. If the deal goes through, Sane would join United on a free transfer, although his weekly salary of £243,000 could pose financial challenges for the club.
As Manchester United prepares for their crucial Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur, manager Ruben Amorim emphasized the importance of this match for their season and future transfer plans. A victory would secure Champions League qualification, providing a boost to their recruitment efforts.
Amorim acknowledged the difficulties faced this season, stating: “A final is different but you can understand this season has been really tough on everybody.” Despite these challenges, he expressed optimism about the team’s preparations for the Europa League final.
Should Sane join Manchester United, he would become one of their highest earners and be expected to quickly find his form. Last season at Bayern Munich, Sane scored 13 goals and provided six assists. His performance in the Premier League could play a crucial role in Manchester United’s quest for success.
