Chelsea Football Club is exploring the possibility of relocating from their historic Stamford Bridge stadium to a new site at Earls Court. This consideration comes as part of an ongoing modernization trend in football infrastructure. The club’s current owner, Todd Boehly, has expressed interest in long-term development opportunities for a new stadium. Previously, a plan was initiated in 2015 under former owner Roman Abramovich to build a 60,000-seater stadium with a budget of £500 million, but it was later abandoned. Boehly acknowledged the complexities involved in finding a suitable location within London and emphasized the importance of strategic planning for future infrastructure. Additionally, Boehly addressed criticism regarding his management style and discussed challenges related to Chelsea’s transfer policy.
