Declan Rice Surpasses Last Season’s Goal Contribution Tally

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has already exceeded his total goal contributions from the previous season. During the 2022/23 campaign, Rice recorded 16 combined goals and assists. As of now in the 2024/25 season, he has reached 17 contributions, setting a new personal record with several games still remaining.

This marks a significant milestone for the 25-year-old, who joined Arsenal from West Ham United in the summer of 2023 for a reported fee of over £100 million. Since arriving at the Emirates Stadium, Rice has established himself as a key figure in Mikel Arteta’s midfield, contributing both defensively and offensively.

Rice’s improvement in attacking output complements his reputation as one of the Premier League’s most reliable defensive midfielders. In addition to his goal involvement, he maintains a high passing accuracy and consistently ranks among the top players in ball recoveries and interceptions.

  • Declan Rice won the UEFA Europa Conference League with West Ham in 2023, captaining the side in the final.
  • He made his senior England debut in 2019 and has since become a regular starter for the national team.
  • Rice initially represented the Republic of Ireland at youth and senior levels before switching allegiance to England.
  • His transfer to Arsenal was one of the most expensive deals in British football history at the time.

With his attacking statistics on the rise, Rice continues to demonstrate his versatility and importance to Arsenal’s campaign. His consistent performances have been vital in the club’s push for domestic and European success.
