Everton is actively pursuing AS Roma’s Tammy Abraham as a potential addition to their squad this summer. With Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s contract nearing its end, the club is in search of a new striker. Everton manager David Moyes confirmed that no new contract has been offered to Calvert-Lewin, emphasizing the need for a replacement. Previously linked with Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap, Everton has now shifted focus after Delap opted for Chelsea.
Tammy Abraham, who spent last season on loan at AC Milan, could return to English football after leaving Chelsea in 2021. Transfer reporter Graeme Bailey noted that Moyes is interested in the 27-year-old England international, highlighting his experience and potential contribution to the team. Abraham has made 112 Premier League appearances, scoring 29 goals and providing 14 assists.
As Everton looks to strengthen their attack, Abraham’s experience in both the Premier League and Serie A makes him a valuable target.
