Manchester City is considering loaning out Jack Grealish, as no offers have been received for the 29-year-old winger. Grealish, who joined City in August 2021 for a record £100 million fee, is contracted until 2027 and earns £300,000 per week. Despite being a key player in City’s treble-winning 2022-23 season, he has seen limited playing time this season, starting only seven Premier League games last campaign.
Grealish was notably absent from the 27-man squad that traveled to Boca Raton, Florida, for the Club World Cup. Manager Pep Guardiola’s decision to exclude him has fueled speculation about his potential departure. The lack of game time has also raised concerns with England national team coach Gareth Southgate, who emphasized the need for more minutes at the club level for future call-ups.
Manchester City remains open to loan offers as they seek a solution that benefits both the club and Grealish. Discussions between the player’s representatives and City management are ongoing to find a suitable arrangement.
