Liverpool Eyes £35m Yankuba Minteh Amid Transfer Market Moves

Liverpool, the reigning Premier League champions, are actively pursuing new talent to bolster their squad for the upcoming season. Reports indicate that Liverpool is considering a £35 million bid for Brighton & Hove Albion winger Yankuba Minteh. The Gambia international has impressed since joining Brighton from Newcastle United, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in 37 appearances across all competitions.

Minteh’s performance has not gone unnoticed, with Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur also monitoring his progress. Known for his speed, Minteh clocked a top speed of 36.4 km/h last season, making him one of the fastest players in the league.

In addition to Minteh, Liverpool has already secured Jeremie Frimpong and is reportedly interested in Florian Wirtz as part of their strategy to defend their title next season. The club is also linked with Valencia’s Cristhian Mosquera and Paris Saint-Germain’s Goncalo Ramos.

Meanwhile, Liverpool forward Luis Diaz has been linked with a potential move to Saudi Arabia or Barcelona this summer. Should Diaz depart, it could pave the way for Minteh’s arrival at Anfield.
