Liverpool has secured the Premier League title this season under the management of Arne Slot. Mohamed Salah played a pivotal role, scoring 33 goals and providing 23 assists across all competitions. Despite this success, Trent Alexander-Arnold will leave Liverpool for Real Madrid on a free transfer at the end of the season. In response, Liverpool is reportedly targeting Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen as a potential replacement. An agreement in principle is said to be in place with Frimpong for a summer transfer, involving a five-year contract. The Dutch international’s release clause is around €40 million (£34 million). Frimpong has been noted for his offensive contributions, ranking highly among full-backs in Europe’s top leagues for goal involvements and progressive carries.
