Liverpool’s goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is on the verge of joining Brentford after both clubs agreed on a transfer fee. The initial amount of £12.5 million could increase to £18 million with add-ons. Kelleher, a 26-year-old Republic of Ireland international, is expected to replace Mark Flekken, who will be moving to Bayer Leverkusen for approximately £8 million. Kelleher has one year remaining on his contract with Liverpool and has made 25 Premier League appearances over five seasons. During his time at Anfield, he has also participated in over 40 cup matches, contributing to Liverpool’s victories in two Premier League titles, the Champions League, FA Cup, two League Cups, and the UEFA Super Cup.
