Liverpool has confirmed the departure of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who joins Real Madrid for a reported fee of £10 million. This move allows him to participate in the upcoming Club World Cup under the management of Xabi Alonso. Meanwhile, Jeremie Frimpong has completed his medical at Anfield, with his transfer from Bayer Leverkusen expected to be announced soon. Additionally, Liverpool is pursuing deals for Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez as they look to strengthen their squad.
However, several players are rumored to be on their way out. Harvey Elliott may leave due to limited playing time this season, with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bayer Leverkusen, and Borussia Dortmund showing interest. Liverpool is reportedly asking for £50 million for Elliott.
Kostas Tsimikas might also depart following Frimpong’s arrival. Andy Robertson intends to stay and compete for a spot against Kerkez. Darwin Nunez is another potential exit as Liverpool seeks a new striker; he has scored just seven goals in 47 appearances this season.
Interest from Bayern Munich in Cody Gakpo has surfaced, though it appears unlikely that Liverpool will let him go given his significant contribution this season. Luis Diaz is another player attracting attention, particularly from Al Nassr and Barcelona. Reports suggest Diaz could cost over €85 million (£72 million) if he leaves Anfield.
Diaz has had an impressive season with 17 goals and eight assists across all competitions. His technical prowess ranks him among the top attacking midfielders and wingers in Europe’s top leagues.
