Manchester City is actively pursuing new signings as the transfer window progresses. The club is reportedly close to securing a deal for Wolverhampton Wanderers’ left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri. Although a full agreement has not been finalized, expectations are high that the Algerian defender will soon join Manchester City to compete with Josko Gvardiol and Nathan Ake on the left side of defense.
In addition to Ait-Nouri, Manchester City has shown interest in Paris Saint-Germain’s winger Bradley Barcola. The 22-year-old had an impressive season with PSG, scoring 21 goals and providing 19 assists in 58 appearances across all competitions. Barcola’s performance has attracted attention from other Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Despite interest from English clubs, PSG manager Luis Enrique is keen to retain Barcola and plans to offer him a contract extension until 2030. However, Manchester City remains hopeful that they can bring the talented winger to the Etihad Stadium as part of their strategy to strengthen the squad under Pep Guardiola’s leadership.
