Orlando Pirates are set to part ways with midfielder Miguel Timm, who has found limited opportunities this season with only three cup appearances. Timm will become a free agent after June 30, and several PSL clubs, including Sekhukhune United and AmaZulu, are reportedly interested in signing the 33-year-old.
In another development, Jose Riveiro is leaving Orlando Pirates to join Al Ahly. Following the team’s defeat in the Nedbank Cup final against Kaizer Chiefs, Riveiro expressed gratitude towards the club and stated his intention not to coach any other team in South Africa.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates have shown interest in Fiston Mayele. Discussions have taken place between the club and Mayele’s representatives, although no formal agreement has been reached yet. The Pirates are actively seeking a reliable striker, and Mayele is considered a strong candidate due to his performance on the continental stage.
