Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly considering selling Brazilian forward Richarlison to finance a move for Southampton’s Tyler Dibling. Richarlison, who struggled with injuries during the 2024-25 season, made only 15 Premier League appearances, scoring four goals and providing one assist. Despite his efforts, he often found himself on the bench behind Dominic Solanke.
The potential sale of Richarlison could facilitate Tottenham’s pursuit of Dibling, a promising 19-year-old winger from Southampton. The Saints are seeking £55 million for Dibling, but Spurs hope to negotiate a deal between £40 million and £45 million. Dibling impressed during Southampton’s challenging season, contributing four goals and three assists across all competitions.
Richarlison’s departure could be pivotal in securing funds for Dibling’s acquisition. The young winger has been praised for his skill and potential impact on the field. With Tottenham aiming to enhance their squad depth and quality, acquiring Dibling aligns with their strategy of integrating talented young players into the first team.
