Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, is contemplating a potential move to Saudi Pro-League club Al-Hilal. Discussions between Fernandes’ representatives and Al-Hilal officials have taken place recently, with the possibility of Fernandes participating in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup. Despite these developments, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim remains optimistic about Fernandes staying at Old Trafford, stating that he believes the player wants to continue with the club. However, no definitive decision has been made by Fernandes regarding his future. Al-Hilal is reportedly offering a substantial financial package that could significantly increase Fernandes’ current earnings. The Portuguese midfielder has been a key player for Manchester United since joining from Sporting in January 2020, scoring 98 goals in 290 appearances.
