Mozambique’s national football team coach, Chiquinho Conde, has announced the squad set to face South Africa’s Bafana Bafana in an international friendly scheduled for June 10 in Pretoria. The team includes Edmilson Dove and Manuela Kambala, who play in South Africa. In their last encounter in November 2022, South Africa secured a 2-1 victory over Mozambique. This upcoming match follows Bafana’s game against Tanzania. Edmilson Dove recently completed a season with Kaizer Chiefs, where the team finished ninth in the league with 32 points but won the Nedbank Cup. Manuela Kambala contributed to Polokwane City’s seventh-place finish in the Betway Premiership with 34 points. The two teams are also set to compete again later in June at the COSAFA senior men’s tournament in Bloemfontein, having been drawn into Group A alongside Mauritius and Zimbabwe.
