Orlando Pirates Announce Departure of Key Defensive Duo

Orlando Pirates have officially announced the departure of defenders Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane. Mako, who joined the team from Chippa United in July 2018, will leave at the end of his contract in June. During his tenure, he made 173 appearances, scoring two goals and providing eight assists. Monyane, a product of the club’s youth system, debuted in the first team in July 2019. He played 94 matches for the Pirates, netting four goals and assisting four times. The club expressed gratitude for their contributions and wished them success in their future endeavors.
