Orlando Pirates are actively pursuing new signings ahead of the upcoming transfer window. The team is reportedly close to securing a deal with Polokwane City’s right-back Thabang Matuludi. This move comes as the club seeks to strengthen its squad after falling short in both the Nedbank Cup final and the CAF Champions League semi-final last season.
In addition to player acquisitions, Orlando Pirates are also in search of a new head coach following Jose Riveiro’s departure. Former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena has been mentioned as a potential candidate for the position.
Club legend Lucky Lekgwathi commented on the coaching situation, emphasizing the importance of supporting whoever takes on the role. He highlighted that consistency in league performance remains a key focus for the team moving forward.
