The PSL promotion playoffs have been postponed once more following a late arbitration session on Friday. Initially set to commence on Tuesday, May 27, the playoffs were delayed due to the unresolved match between SuperSport United and Lamontville Golden Arrows, alongside an incomplete arbitration process. After a 1-1 draw between SuperSport and Arrows on Thursday, Cape Town City secured the final play-off spot, joining Casric Stars and ORBIT College in the three-team mini-league. The arbitration hearing, previously postponed earlier in the week, took place on Friday afternoon with Cape Town Spurs, Durban City, and JDR Stars present. Arbitrators announced that a final decision will be made on Monday. Consequently, the playoffs will not start this weekend, leaving teams like Casric Stars and ORBIT College without competitive matches for a second consecutive weekend.
