Sipho Mbule Released by Sekhukhune United Amid Controversy

Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Sipho Mbule, who was on loan to Sekhukhune United, has been released from the club. The decision comes after Mbule made 18 appearances, scoring two goals and providing three assists. His release is reportedly due to alleged misconduct. Previously, during the 2022/2023 season, Mbule faced disciplinary action from Sundowns for attending training under the influence of alcohol. As Sundowns evaluate player contracts expiring in June, it is uncertain if Mbule will remain with the team. Reports suggest that Sekhukhune United decided to release him following another incident of ill-discipline.
