This loss leaves SuperSport United in 14th place, tied on points with Cape Town City but ahead due to a better goal difference. The team is set to face Richards Bay at home on Saturday, May 24. Arendse expressed confidence in his players’ ability to avoid relegation playoffs, stating, ‘There is no doubt in my mind that this group of players is going to see this team over the line.’ He emphasized the importance of maintaining clean sheets and improving their goal difference.
