Arsenal’s Jason Ayto to Depart After Nearly a Decade

Jason Ayto, who served as Arsenal’s assistant sporting director, is set to leave the club. Ayto, who stepped into the role of interim sporting director following Edu’s departure in November, has been with Arsenal for almost ten years. During his tenure, he played a significant role in the club’s operations and was instrumental in negotiations for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi. The internal announcement of his departure was made on Friday. Andrea Berta, appointed as Edu’s successor in April, has since taken over responsibilities related to recruitment and contracts.
