Veteran midfielder Andile Jali is set to leave Chippa United at the end of June as he considers retirement. Jali, who joined Chippa United on a one-year contract at the start of the season, has played over 700 minutes this season but has been hampered by injuries. The 35-year-old will not return for the 2025/26 season after his contract expires, as he plans to focus on family and business ventures. Throughout his career, Jali won seven league titles-five with Mamelodi Sundowns and two with Orlando Pirates-and represented South Africa’s national team, Bafana Bafana, in 45 matches, scoring five goals.
