Kaizer Chiefs forward Glody Lilepo has expressed the team’s ambition to secure a trophy this season and emphasized the importance of finishing strong to qualify for next year’s MTN8 competition. Since joining the club in January, the 27-year-old DRC international has scored six goals and provided one assist in 14 matches. Lilepo highlighted the significance of their upcoming match against Polokwane City as they aim for a top-eight finish. “We are all very happy because we know how important it is for the Club” he stated on the club’s official website. “Personally, I am training well, as is the rest of the squad. We understand how important this game is for our chances of finishing in the top eight.” The team’s leading scorer this season also urged fans to support them in their final game, saying, “Khosi Nation, once again we need you on Saturday for the last game of the season.
