Mamelodi Sundowns are preparing for the decisive match against Pyramids in the CAF Champions League final, following a 1-1 draw in the first leg. The South African team conceded a late equalizer to Walid El-Karti, which offset Lucas Ribeiro Costa’s goal. Despite this setback, assistant coach Steve Komphela remains optimistic about their chances in Cairo. He emphasized the importance of resilience and learning from past experiences. Komphela acknowledged the strength of Pyramids, who are competing for three trophies this season, but expressed confidence in Sundowns’ ability to challenge them. The final will take place on Sunday evening at 30 June Stadium.
