Kaizer Chiefs are in a critical position as they aim for a Top 8 finish in the Betway Premiership, with just one match left in the season. Currently sitting in ninth place with 31 points from 27 games, they must win their final match against Polokwane City to achieve their goal.
Despite a challenging season, Kaizer Chiefs found success by winning the Nedbank Cup, ending a decade-long trophy drought. As they prepare for their decisive match on Saturday, coach Nasreddine Nabi is expected to employ an attacking strategy.
In goal, Brandon Petersen is likely to continue his role after conceding only once in his last two starts. The defense is anticipated to include Dillan Solomons, Inacio Miguel, Edmilson Dove, and Bradley Cross, with Dove playing at center-back.
The midfield lineup may feature Yusuf Maart, Mduduzi Shabalala, and Edson Castillo. If Kaizer Chiefs secure an early lead, Sibongiseni Mthethwa could be introduced to bolster the midfield.
Forwards Makabi Lilepo, Wandile Duba, and Ashley Du Preez are expected to start. With Pule Mmodi suspended for the final game, Du Preez will likely begin upfront while Duba shifts to the right wing.
