Lucas Ribeiro: A Contender for PSL Player of the Season

Mamelodi Sundowns’ forward Lucas Ribeiro has been nominated for the Premier Soccer League (PSL) Player of the Season award. The Brazilian player has impressed with his performance, scoring 16 goals and providing nine assists in 28 matches.

Former Orlando Pirates defender Lucas Thwala praised Ribeiro’s skills, stating, “That guy is very dangerous.” Thwala highlighted Ribeiro’s deceptive speed and intelligence on the field, noting his ability to find spaces and effectively utilize his pace.

Thwala further commented on Ribeiro’s technique, particularly around the penalty area, where he can either shoot or place the ball accurately. “He’s very good and yes, he was the best player in the PSL this season” Thwala concluded.
