Rulani Mokwena Leaves Wydad Casablanca: What’s Next?

Rulani Mokwena, former coach of Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, has parted ways with Wydad Casablanca. The Moroccan club confirmed his departure following a season that included 11 victories, 12 draws, and four losses in the Botola Pro 1 league. Mokwena expressed gratitude to the team and fans via social media, stating, “I’m deeply thankful to this incredible group of players—humble, passionate, and talented—who made this journey special.” He also mentioned his intention to seek new opportunities in football management. Speculation suggests a possible return to Orlando Pirates or a move to Egyptian club Zamalek.
