Aaron Ramsdale Faces Third Premier League Relegation After Southampton’s Drop

Aaron Ramsdale has been relegated from the Premier League for the third time in his career following Southampton’s confirmed drop to the Championship in the 2024/25 season.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper has now experienced relegation with three different clubs:

• In 2020, Ramsdale was relegated with Bournemouth.
• In 2021, he faced the same fate with Sheffield United.
• In 2025, he has once again suffered relegation, this time with Southampton.

Ramsdale joined Southampton after a spell at Arsenal, where he had served as the first-choice goalkeeper before losing his place. Despite his efforts this season, the Saints were unable to secure enough points to avoid the drop.
