Following Manchester United’s Europa League defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, players Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho have hinted at possible departures from the club. Despite head coach Ruben Amorim’s desire to retain Fernandes, the midfielder has stated he will leave if the club decides to sell him. Fernandes, 30, who recently signed a long-term contract, has been linked with a potential move to Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal. “I’ve always said I will be here until the club says to me that it’s time to go” Fernandes remarked. Meanwhile, Garnacho expressed dissatisfaction after being limited to a late substitute role in the final match and acknowledged interest from clubs such as Napoli and Chelsea. The Argentinian player suggested he might explore options during the summer transfer window. The loss has also put pressure on Amorim’s position as head coach, though he affirmed his commitment unless the board decides otherwise.
