Everton’s season saw a significant turnaround after David Moyes took over from Sean Dyche. Initially struggling in 16th place, the team finished 13th in the Premier League under Moyes’ management. The club made strategic signings, including Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille for £15 million, and benefited from the development of Jarrad Branthwaite, who has become one of the league’s top defenders. Branthwaite played 30 matches this season, contributing to eight clean sheets and maintaining an impressive pass completion rate of 83%. Another key player was Jake O’Brien, signed from Lyon for £17 million. O’Brien played a crucial role in defense, starting 16 matches and scoring important goals. His performance has been instrumental in Everton’s improved standing.
