April 22, 2025 — Leeds United and Burnley have officially secured their return to the Premier League after reaching 94 points each with two matches remaining in the Championship. Both clubs are now mathematically guaranteed automatic promotion, with an 8-point gap from third-placed Sheffield United.
Leeds United currently lead the standings due to a superior goal difference (+60), having scored 89 goals and conceded just 29. Burnley, also on 94 points, boast a similarly strong record with 61 goals scored and only 15 conceded, the fewest in the league.
This marks a significant milestone for both clubs, who will rejoin England’s top tier for the 2025/26 season after demonstrating consistent form throughout the campaign.
