Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Matheus Cunha has expressed a preference for joining Manchester United during the upcoming summer transfer window. The Brazilian international, who has been in impressive form with 15 goals in 30 matches this season, is also attracting interest from Arsenal. However, a move to the Emirates Stadium appears unlikely. Cunha is contracted with Wolves until June 2029 and has a release clause of £62.5 million, making him a potential target for several Premier League clubs.
In other transfer news, Newcastle United are considering a move for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko as they seek to strengthen their attacking options. The 21-year-old Slovenian has scored 13 goals in 31 Bundesliga appearances this season and is under contract until June 2029.
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund have joined Manchester United in pursuing Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham. The 19-year-old played a key role in helping Sunderland reach the Championship playoffs with four goals and three assists this season.
