Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has yet to discuss his future with the club following their recent Europa League victory over Manchester United. This win marked the end of a 17-year trophy drought for Spurs. Despite this success, speculation about Postecoglou’s position persists as Tottenham currently sits 17th in the Premier League standings with one match remaining against Brighton. In a press conference, Postecoglou commented on the situation, stating, “I should have thought about it a bit more because sometimes they kill off the main character.” He expressed optimism about building something significant with the team and emphasized that he has not engaged in discussions regarding his future at the club. Even if Tottenham secures a win against Brighton, they will still conclude the season with their lowest points total in Premier League history unless other results favor them. Nevertheless, Postecoglou remains hopeful about what lies ahead for the team.
