Tottenham Hotspur is preparing for significant changes regardless of the outcome of their Europa League final against Manchester United on May 21. Despite reaching the final, Spurs are currently positioned 16th in the Premier League, prompting internal restructuring. A key decision involves the future of head coach Ange Postecoglou, whose position remains uncertain even after leading the team to a European final.
In addition to potential coaching changes, Tottenham is in discussions with Fabio Paratici about a possible return to the club’s executive team. Paratici, who served as managing director of football until his suspension in April 2023 due to financial irregularities during his time at Juventus, has been working unofficially with Spurs and could officially rejoin once his ban expires in July.
The club is also set to welcome Vinai Venkatesham as their new chief executive before next season. Meanwhile, Johan Lange will continue as technical director and play a crucial role in player recruitment during the upcoming transfer window.
Tottenham’s performance against Manchester United could influence their summer plans significantly, as a victory would secure Champions League qualification.
